The Illinet Interlibrary Loan Code was approved by the Illinois State Library Advisory Committee on April 12, 2008. Every library in the Rolling Prairie Library system should read and become familiar with the New Code. The following should be done by all RPLS Libraries.

1. Review the newly adopted Illinois ILL code (pdf).
2. Review your library’s interlibrary loan policy, compare it to the Illinet code and make adjustments as necessary.
3. OCLC Member Libraries should then update any Interlibrary loan policies in their OCLC policy file.
4. Last, libraries should place their updated policy from step 2 onto their library webpage.
