RPLS Database Update and Migration News!The day is here! We're taking the database down and starting the upgrade. We hope to be back up by the end of the day on Thursday. Three new boxes and all the related network hardware are set up temporarily in the RPLS Computer Room. SirsiDynix, John Craig, and I have been working over the weekend and Monday to do as much preliminary setup as we can on the new servers. We will keep you posted as we go, but there won't be much news for a while. Watch the System Status page for updates. Use this time to install your new software and keep your library running according to your backup plan. Libraries needing to upgrade SIP and DebtCollect will be working with a SirsiDynix technician after the upgrade is complete. I will remind SirsiDynix that they need to be in touch with you. I will need to configure HIP again after the upgrade, so don't be concerned if HIP seems to "revert" back to its default language, etc. I will put it back the way it's supposed to be.
