Teach
Students to Fish
Lao Tzu said: "Give a Man a Fish, Feed Him For a Day. Teach a Man to
Fish, Feed Him For a Lifetime" Your students will become more
independent learners if you teach them how to: construct a query, use
primary sources, understand fair use, locate alternate formats, organize
their findings. See how these five skills can be translated into grade
appropriate exercises. This session is designed for librarians working
with grades 7-12.
